BELLINGHAM, WA — Movement Mortgage (Movement), a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of regional director Dustin Brumley to its team serving multiple communities in the Pacific Northwest. Bellingham's Dustin Brumley Joins Movement Mortgage in PNW

Brumley (NMLS #111467) brings nearly two decades of home financing experience to his role at Movement, with early experience as a loan originator spent cold-calling for Hometown Financial and Anchor Bank. Upon relocating from California to Washington, he propelled his loan officer career at Neighborhood Mortgage and Bank of the Pacific. Brumley then became a branch manager and regional vice president at a top-ten home financing company, where he spent the past eight years.

“Before diving into the mortgage business, I owned a drafting firm with my brother. He's now an architect specializing in operating rooms while I chose a different path,” says Brumley. “But I love what I do, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love helping families find ways to finance their dream homes. Especially in my adopted hometown of Bellingham.”

Brumley cited that it was Movement's philanthropic values that piqued his interest. “It's not empty words with no follow-through,” said Brumley. “The fact that their profits go to opening schools, health clinics and housing projects is amazing, as is the Love Works program, an employee-funded way to help co-workers dealing with personal crises. These things really resonated with me.” Brumley will concentrate his efforts on Bellingham, Bothell, Federal Way, Olympia, Seattle and Snohomish communities.

Movement president Mike Brennan expressed his excitement about Brumley joining the Movement team and stated, “Having Dustin on board is a huge win for us. His impressive leadership background and proven success as a loan officer make him a valuable asset as Movement continues to grow and establish new branches in the Pacific Northwest.”

Originally from San Diego, Brumley lives in Bellingham with his wife, two beautiful daughters, two dogs, two cats and two axolotls. When not on the job, he enjoys cooking, golfing, boating and wake surfing.
